Naza and Gentari enter into partnership to expand EV charging infrastructure 01

In a move towards fostering sustainable electric mobility in Malaysia, Naza Automotive Holdings Sdn Bhd (Naza Auto), has formalised a collaboration with Gentari Green Mobility Sdn Bhd (Gentari), a subsidiary of Gentari Sdn Bhd specialising in clean energy solutions.

This partnership aims to position Naza Auto as a prominent player in the Electric Vehicle (EV) space while advancing Malaysia's transition towards a future characterised by sustainable electric mobility. By joining forces, the two companies aim to empower EV users with nationwide access to a network of charging stations.

SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin, Executive Chairman of Naza Group, emphasized the partnership's alignment with the government's vision of transitioning to a greener economy by 2050. He stated, "This partnership with Gentari is not only a testament to our dedication to sustainability but also a bold step towards accelerating Malaysia's EV journey."

Shah Yang Razalli, Deputy CEO of Gentari and CEO of Gentari Green Mobility, highlighted the collaboration's broader scope, extending beyond the installation of EV charging points. Razalli expressed commitment to creating a robust and reliable charging infrastructure across Malaysia to instill confidence among electric vehicle users.

Gentari is set to spearhead the deployment of EV charging infrastructure across Naza Group properties. The phased rollout began last August, with installations at prominent locations such as Naza Tower, Platinum Park KLCC, and Naza Automall in Petaling Jaya.

Naza Group's commitment to sustainability extends to its ongoing projects, with plans to integrate charging points at key developments like KL Metropolis in Mont Kiara and TTDI Sentralis in Section 13, Shah Alam.

The quest for automotive knowledge began as soon as the earliest memories. Various sources information, even questionable ones, have been explored including video games, television, magazines, or even internet forums. Still stuck in that rabbit hole.
